Volunteer roles
Bird Care Assistant
4 hrs / week min.Help with daily feeding, fresh water, cage cleaning, and enrichment activities under staff supervision.
- 18+ years old
- Comfort handling birds
- Reliable schedule
Socialization Volunteer
2 hrs / week min.Spend one-on-one time with birds who need extra human interaction to build trust and reduce stress.
- Patient and calm demeanor
- No prior bird experience needed
- Consistent availability
Education Presenter
FlexibleLead tours and educational talks for school groups, scouts, and community visitors.
- Public speaking comfort
- Complete orientation training
- Background check required
Event & Fundraising Helper
Event-basedSupport adoption events, fundraisers, and community outreach days with setup, tabling, and logistics.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing
- Able to lift 20 lbs
