We're here for you and your bird
Avians of Hope accepts surrendered parrots and other companion birds when space allows. We work with every owner to find the best path forward — whether that's a direct surrender to our sanctuary, a guided rehoming to a vetted adopter, or connecting you with resources to keep your bird at home.
Your options
Surrender to the sanctuary
Your bird comes to live with us permanently. We provide lifelong care, veterinary attention, and a safe, enriching environment. Space is limited and we maintain a waitlist.
Assisted rehoming
We help you find a screened, approved adopter through our network. You transfer ownership directly, and we support the transition with guidance and follow-up.
Temporary boarding
Facing a short-term crisis — hospitalization, housing transition, family emergency? We offer temporary boarding while you get back on your feet.
