Our flock

Meet the birds who call this home.

Every bird here has a story. Some came from loving homes that could no longer care for them. Others were rescued from neglect. All of them found safety, community, and a second chance.

Luna the Cockatiel

GentleMusicalQuick to Step-up

Luna arrived after his owner had to move. He immediately begged for head scritches and tons of love. In time he has been trying to learn his own style of songs but still tends to be shy about performing.

Apollo the Green Cheek Conure

Apollo

Green Cheek Conure · 9 years · Here since 2022

BitterCuddlyLoud

Apollo was surrendered when his family decided he was not only to mean to some members but the father decided he no longer wanted to be the sole carer for the bird. He's a classic conure — opinionated, affectionate, and convinced he runs the place. He does, a little. Though he still has issues with others he has bonded with one person and that is his person and no one elses!

FeistyLoyalPlayful

Mango came in as our first ever conure! He was sweet right off the bat and turned out to be a massive snuggle bug! He loves his blackberries and Millet! Though he does tend to be a one person bird he still remains very sweet and loves to dance!

Pip the Budgerigar

Pip

ChattyCuriousFearless

Pip was found in a parking lot, likely escaped or released. Despite his small size he has the confidence of a macaw. He's learned over 30 words and uses them at completely random moments.

Ava the Quaker/Monk Parakeet

EnergeticTalkativeDemanding

Ava came from an elderly woman with 3 birds. The owner was being forced to downsize to an apartment and though we could not talk her into surrendering all 3 of the birds we did get 2 pf them. Ava is super sweet and sometimes will say "Thank You" when you give her a kiss on the head. She loves snuggles and will even allow you to pop her pin feathers.
